Moving Map system from Sky Solutions

Sky Solutions offers the FMS Moving Map, a fully digital moving map. The FMS Moving Map provides police and EMS pilots with a tool to quickly find a target address and display its relationship to the helicopter's GPS reading.

It is not a scan of a paper map with overlays. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is used to shape files and create layers of data. This is the same data that your city's planning department uses to plan new subdivisions.

The Moving Map system accesses your city's parcel address data and use that data to display actual parcel outlines and highlight the exact address for the flight officer. This allows you to be far more effective when driving ground units to an address.

Deploying the FMS Moving Map system
